NEWTON: Olive Alberta Newton (nee Orpin); beloved wife of the late Earl Newton; mother of Bert, Marion (Vic), Larry (Lorraine), Dale (Linda), Murray (Karen), Eunice (Jim), Linda (Jack), and the late Dianne; passed away at the Hamiota District Health Centre, Hamiota, MB on Monday, August 11, 2014 at 92 years of age. A service to celebrate Olive’s life will be held at the Hamiota United Church, Hamiota, MB on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 10:00am with interment following in the Hamiota Cemetery. For those so desiring, donations may be made in Olive’s memory to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 4B – 457 9th St, Brandon, MB, R7A 1K2; or to Lilac Residence Lounge, c/o Hamiota District Health Centre, Hamiota, MB, R0M 0T0; or to a charity of one’s choice.
