MILAS: 1946-2014 Olga Milas (nee Ptycia). Olga passed away suddenly at her residence in Winnipeg on September 1st. Olga was born in Germany and immigrated to Brandon, where she received her education and later moved to Winnipeg. Olga’s life was her family and friends. She touched many people with her kindness and generosity. For years she participated in The Shoe Box Donations, she also worked School lunches, collecting antiques was her passion. Olga will be deeply missed by her children, Angela and Christopher Buckmire and Manoly Milas, sisters Tekla and Lydia, many nieces and nephews and their families. She was predeceased by her sister Marie. A Memorial Service was held on September 12, 2014 in Winnipeg. Interment was in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Winnipeg.
