WRATHALL: Evelyn Wrathall of Brandon, passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2014. Evelyn was born on September 6, 1927 in Bentham, Yorkshire, England, the youngest daughter of William Foster and Marion Peale Wrathall. Evelyn was a true believer in giving of herself and to charity. She worked over 50 years with I.O.D.E., 45 years with the Legion Auxiliary and served several years with the Nearly New Shop. Evelyn was a very benevolent person with a strong personality. She is survived by son Edward (Darla) and their adopted kids Addy and Dawson, sisters Dorothy and Nestor in England. She was predeceased by her husband Lindsay, parents William and Marion, her siblings Elma, Edward, John Jack and Agnes. A time of visitation will be held at the Brockie Donovan Funeral Home, 332-8th Street, on Monday, October 27, 2014 from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held at St. Matthews Cathedral, 403-13th Street, on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Paul Curtis officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Evelyn may be made to the Nearly New Shop, 601-9th Street, Brandon, MB, R7A 4B3.
