BAILEY: Linda Louise passed away too soon at the farm in Oak Lake on Thursday September 25 at the age of 53 years old. She leaves behind her husband of 27 years, Glen Bailey, as well as sons Robert (Laranda Odell) and Andrew. She was born in Brandon, MB on September 9, 1961 to James and Jean Forsyth. She was a sister to Margaret Forsyth and Irene Willis (Grant Willis). As well to her brothers Bob (Donna), Brian (Helen) and Brad (Elaine). Her granddaughter, Emery Hillman, and unofficial grandson Caleb Hillman, became her joys the last few years taking them places and always shopping. Linda always loved traveling and took many trips with the family and friends. Involved in the community with the Oak Lake newspaper, Ag Society and school she was always willing to give a hand. Work the last few years took her from Regal in Brandon to the Kenton Co-op making friends and acquaintances along the way. Linda was always reading or watching shows like Jeopardy, and was often working on a quilt or crossword. Linda was an avid cook and the Food Channel was often on the television. A celebration of life was held in the Oak Lake community hall on October 3, 2014. The family can not thank all the friends and family enough for all the support since she left us so suddenly. Donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba in her honor.
