WRIGHT: It is with great sadness, the family of Donald Keith Wright announce his sudden passing, on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at Brandon Regional Health Centre. Don was born in the Glen Souris district July 10, 1928 to Harry and Bessie Wright. At the young age of 15, he and his brother, Reg started working in a bush camp in Kenora. After a few years at the camp, they made enough money to purchase farmland next to their parents' farm which they took over on the passing of their father. Deerview farm was where he found his happiness for family, farming, wildlife and the outdoors. Later in life he married Isabelle Leitch. He retired to Brandon in 2010, but his heart was still on the farm. In 2012 he made his home in Fairview Personal Care Home where he resided until his passing. He was predeceased by his parents, brother Reginald 1997, sister Mary Hawkins 2009, brother-in-law Ken Hawkins 2010 and recently, his wife, Isabelle, October 13, 2014. He leaves to mourn his passing, nephew John (Fran) Hawkins, niece Lorraine Good, and nephew Allan (Darlene) Hawkins and their families. Funeral Service will take place at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street North on Monday, December 1, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. with Ken Quiring officiating. Pallbearers will be nephew John Hawkins, great nephews Craig Hawkins and Jamie Burt, neighbors Wayne Kreller and Gordon Beddome, and family friend Tom Price. Interment will follow at the Brandon Cemetery. Family and friends are invited for fellowship and lunch at Memories Chapel following the interment.
