STEELE: On March 3, 2015, Laura Georgina May Steele went home to the loving arms of her Saviour and is in pain no more. Born at Alida, SK February 13, 1923, she was the 4th child of Tom & Ena Steele. Laura is predeceased by her parents, sisters Gladys and Edith, brothers Morwood and Lyle. Survived by her sister Martha Kehler (Bernard) and sister-in-law Margaret Steele (Morwood). Also survived by nephews and nieces Elwood Kehler (Nancy), Sheldon Kehler (Gwen), Deanna Danielson (Brad), Donna Reedy (Joe), Tom Morgan (Charlene), Barry Steele (Alice), Wayne Steele and their families. She also left behind many dear friends. The highlights of Laura’s life were her years of service to her Heavenly Father in the Sudan, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Cypress, Egypt and Toronto. Three Bible passages that were dear to her heart: Psalm 37:1-6, Psalm 23 and John 14:1-6 and the hymn “I Know Whom I have Believed”. A tea will be held May 24th from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at the McDiarmid Drive Alliance Church in Brandon, MB to share memories and celebrate her life.
