YANICK: Peacefully on Saturday, June 6, 2015, Walter John Yanick, age 84 years, passed away at Rideau Park Personal Care Home. Walter was predeceased by his wife Mary in 2004 and is survived by five children and their families. Funeral Service will take place at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street North on Friday, June 12, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. Rev. Fr. Michael Tkachuk will preside and Stella Fedeniuk as Cantor. Interment will be at Rosewood Memorial Gardens with a reception to follow at Memories Chapel. Donations in memory of Walter may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 3 - 824 - 18th Street, Brandon, Manitoba, R7A 5B7 or to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Unit A1 - 800 Rosser Avenue, Brandon, Manitoba, R7A 6N5.
