CARKENER: Dwight Lenoard passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Sunday, June 21, 2015 at the age of 65 years. He was born in Brandon on November 23, 1949 and lived most of his life in the "East End". Dwight attended King George, Earl Haig and BCI. In 1970, he married Faye (nee Neale). Dwight worked for about twenty-five years for Nexen Chemicals before ill health forced him to take L.T.D. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, watching birds, reading and just sitting on the deck with a cup of coffee. Dwight really enjoyed visits from the grandchildren. In later years, we had many small dogs that brought him much love. Dwight was predeceased by his father Bob and his parents-in-law Marion and Ross Neale. He is survived by his wife Faye of forty five years; son Ian (Jody), grandchildren Caitlyn and Warren; daughter Nancy (Erik) Adema, grandchildren Farran and Taven. He is also survived by his mother Lois; brother Jim (Gail) of Vancouver; sister- in-law Ann (Dave) Pickford and sister-in-law Joan (Arnold) Winstone. A Come and Go Reception will take place at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, 361 Russell Street, on Friday, July 3, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.. If friends so desire, donations in memory of Dwight may be made to a charity of choice. Expressions of sympathy may be made at www.memorieschapel.com.
