LOANE: Beverly Alice Loane passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at the age of 71 years. Beloved wife of the late Gerald Loane Sr., Beverly is survived by her two sons Vincent (Elizabeth) Loane, Gerald (Sandra) Loane, her daughter Vanessa (Kevin) Patterson and her grandchildren Gerald, Kristen, Sullivan, Caiden, Kyle, Adam, Cheryl, Angela, Dakota, Beverly, as well as many great grandchildren. She also leaves behind her brothers Raymond (Lynda), Lee (Sheila), Frank (Gertrude), Wade (Darlene), Jack (Glenda), Winston, Brenton (Rose) and brother-in-law Aubrey. She was predeceased by her sister Jean and her sister-in-law Wanda. Beverly was born in Mill Cove, Nova Scotia in 1944. She met her husband Gerald Loane while he was harboured with the Navy in Halifax, NS. They were married in 1963 and had two sons. After many moves with the military, they settled in Brandon in 1992. She loved to cook and bake, and held a family supper every Saturday night with a surprise dessert. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be sadly missed.
