EYRES:  Leslie Gordon Eyres passed away at the Assiniboine Centre on Monday, August 24, 2015 with the love of his life, Gwen Gonzalez, by his side. Les was born on July 18, 1950 in Brandon, Manitoba and raised on a family farm. He was predeceased by his grandparents, parents, Robert Gordon Eyres and Jean Helen Eyres, and nephew, Robert David Friesen. He leaves behind his sister, Judy Marie Eyres-Friesen, brother in law, Pete Friesen, nephews, Jamie Friesen and Wayne Friesen, and grandchild, Ashley. Leslie had a lifelong interest in cars and trains. He was a very kind and compassionate man befriended by many. The date and time for the graveside service at the Rosewood Memorial Gardens is pending. Rosewood Memorial Gardens is located roughly 3 km west of Brandon, Manitoba, and 6 km east of Kemnay, Manitoba on Highway 1A West, R7A 5Y2.
