BAGNALL: Ida Mae (Brown) Bagnall. It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend on Monday, November 2, 2015 at Rideau Park Personal Care Home, Brandon at the age of 98 years. Ida was predeceased by her husband Gilbert; daughter Doreen; brother Garnet and sisters Florence, Beatrice and Irene. Mom is survived by son Mark (Doris) of Sidney as well as grandchildren Carol (Wes) of Brandon, Dawn of Winnipeg, Boyd (Shawn) Casey, Kenzie of Portage la Prairie and Lynn of Winnipeg. Mom was born at Oberon, MB on May 15, 1917 and grew up in the Arizona area. After marrying Gil, she became a resident of the Sidney District and in 2001 moved to Brandon Hobbs Manor. Ida centered her life around her home and family and was especially proud of her grandchildren. She enjoyed flowers, gardening and crafts and was a gracious hostess. She had many family gatherings over the years. Over the years she was a member of the Anglican Ladies Aid and a member of the Sidney UCW. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimers Society of Manitoba, 108B Saskatchewan Ave. E. Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 0L1. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 9, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Carberry United Church with Rev. Peggy Reid officiating. Interment will follow at the Sidney Cemetery.
