EDWARDS: Ernest Clement Ernie April 13, 1932 Brandon, Manitoba - November 13, 2015 Calgary, Alberta. With both sadness and gratitude we announce the passing of Ernest (Ernie) Clement Edwards at Agape Hospice on Friday, November 13 at the age of 83. Ernie was born in Brandon, MB and his memories of early life on the farm were always so very dear to him. His much loved siblings include George (deceased), Dorothy Thornton, Muriel Guild and Jack (Mary). Of Ernie's many achievements, it was having a purpose that he valued most, in all the important roles he played throughout his lifetime. Bernice and all the family are grateful for the compassionate love and care he received from his medical team as well as from family and many friends. We want to express particular gratitude to the staff and volunteers at the Agape Hospice. Ernie is lovingly remembered by Bernice, his wife of 59 years and his children Paul (Karen), Carl and Joan (Murray). His legacy and the joy of his life includes 11 grandchildren; Kaya, Hannah, Torsten, Jensen (BC); Andrew, Amanda, Kathleen, Hillary, Greg (Ontario); Dolan, Ashley (Alberta).
