She was born in Brandon, MB on May 11th, 1948 & lived most of her life there. The past 7 years she resided in Belmont, MB. In 1968, she married Bill Draper of Elgin, MB and had two children, Suzanne and Mark. She was a woman of amazing strength and courage. She had many health issues in the past 10 years & faced every one of them with a smile on her face and an optimistic attitude. She had a passion for horses which she passed on to Suzanne. They spent many years raising and showing horses & she loved spending time at the family cabin at Oak Lake Beach. She worked at the Brandon Clinic for 25 years as a stenographer and then as medical receptionist. She loved her job and seemed to be the go to person for her doctors and coworkers when someone needed help with something. She loved to cook, bake and sew. Her biggest passion in life was her family. She was an amazing Mom who taught her children so many wonderful things about living and living well. She supported everything her kids did. She was simply the best. She aspired to being a grandmother but when her kids hit 40 she didn't think that would ever happen. To her great delight she became a Nana in 2011. She was a Nana like no other. It didn't matter what was going on with her, she dropped everything for her grandchildren. They made her life worth living for the past 4 years.
