COLE: Mechthild “Mech” passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at the age of 74 years. Born in Werl, Germany, she married Norman Cole in 1963 and after his passing, she moved back to the Brandon area from Belleville, Ontario. She had two daughters, Martina Adams of Brandon and Linda Cole of Oakville, Ontario. Also left to mourn Mech are her grandchildren Bradley and Tanya Adams of Brandon and Erika and Karis Cole of Ontario. A celebration of Mech’s life was held at the Brockie Donovan Chapel, on Thursday, December 24, 2015. Donations in Mech’s name may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Unit 3-824-18th Street, Brandon, MB, R7A 5B7 or to the Canadian Cancer Society, 415-1st Street, Brandon, MB, R7A 2W8.
