BUCKMIRE: 1939 ~ 2016 Mrs. Inez Buckmire of Brandon, Manitoba, beloved wife of the late Mr. Jim Buckmire, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at the age of 76 years. Inez was born on September 6, 1939 and lived most of her life in Brandon, Manitoba until she moved to Lethbridge, Alberta. She was well known for her wonderful wit and sense of humor, which she shared with her customers at the Velvet Rail, volunteering, friends and family. She had a zest for life and some of her favorite things were dancing and aerobics. She was always known as “Mom” to many of her children’s friends due to her welcoming warm heart and fun spirit. She gave her love to her family with the ferocity of a lion and you could always find her sharing her time with her grandchildren whenever they were close to her. She was a rare gem that has been taken from us but will always be alive in the hearts of many. Inez is survived by her children Rick (Rhonda) Buckmire and Tammy Ander; grandchildren Jeremy (Jenn) Buckmire, Ashley Buckmire, Logan Ander, and Mason Ander; great-grandchild Jocelyn Buckmire; brothers Ed (Gail) Sanderson, and Fred (Margaret) Sanderson; brother-in-law Walter Tetzlaff and numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Besides her loving husband Jim, Inez was predeceased by her parents Maurice and Myrtle Sanderson; sisters Bev Tetzlaff and Marlene Reilly. She has chosen not to have a service and requests that donations be made to the Alberta Lung Association, P.O. Box 4700 Stn. S. Edmonton, AB, T6E 9Z9. Special thanks to Nancy Heyland for her friendship and all of her care and support.Visit www.mbfunerals.com to send a private condolence.mc
