BAGSHAW: Peacefully, on Monday, March 14, 2016, Gordon Richard Bagshaw, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre. Born September 23, 1933 in Gravesend, Kent, England, Gordon was a much travelled man who had worked in many countries all over the world, and it was in Africa where his affection for elephants began. He relocated to Canada in 1977 after falling in love with the country whilst working here. A few years ago, Gordon moved from Winnipeg to Brandon to be nearer to his friends and his cottage at Silver Beach Lakes where he was always happy to be fishing and feeding the hummingbirds. He was a good man who spent his time helping out friends with DIY projects, and walking and looking after their dogs - He loved dogs. He will be missed by a lot of friends and family very much. In keeping with Gordon's wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal funeral service will be held.R.I.P. Dad.Expressions of sympathy may be made at www.memorieschapel.com.
