HOWEY: On Friday, March 25, 2016, John Wesley "Wes" Howey, of Brandon, passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre. He was born February 24, 1923 in Bradwardine, Manitoba. Wes worked as a mechanic at Reg Pearon's garage and Wilton Mercury Sales. He was a member of the Canadian Order of Foresters, and the Royal Canadian Legion. When not at work, Wes enjoyed spending his summers at the lake, as well as fishing, golfing, curling, and woodworking. Remaining to cherish Wes's memory are his wife Anna Howey; daughter Pat Parker; grandsons Wes (Carol), Darby (Shaundra), Lorne (Karen); six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Richard, sister Vera, and parents Clarence and Emma. The Ceremony to Celebrate Wes' Life took place at Memories Chapel on Thursday, March 31, 2016 with Arlene Robertson officiating. Urn Bearer was Wes Parker. Interment followed at the Brandon Cemetery.
