BROWN: With family by his side, Charles David "Dave" Brown passed away Sunday, April 24, 2016 at the Brandon Regional Health Centre. Dave was born in Brandon on October 21, 1948. He was a long time barber in Brandon and enjoyed visiting with his customers. Dave loved music and spent many years playing in a local band. His favourite pastime was fishing and spending time with family and friends at the cabin at Oak Lake Beach. Dave is survived by his wife Connie; daughter Pam; grandson Carter; son Craig (April); brother Bob (Val), Karli and Jared; father-in-law Cam Fordyce; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Debbie and Marv LeBlanc, Bob and Debbie Fordyce, Darryl and Sharon Fordyce, as well as several aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents Cal and Ruth, twin brother Danny and mother-in -law Evelyn Fordyce. A private family graveside service took place on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at the Brandon Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Glenn Ball officiating.
