BOUCHARD: On Monday, May 16, 2016, Verna Edith Bouchard, age 78 years, beloved wife of Gil, passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre. She was born August 18, 1937 in Rounthwaite, Manitoba. Verna worked for over 20 years, holding various positions with Woolworth, Woolco and Walmart. In 2003, she became a volunteer with the BRHA's Nearly New Shop. She especially enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and knitting. Verna was predeceased by her daughter Bonny. She is survived by her husband Gil; sons Bill and Gerald; daughter Debbie; stepsons; Marcel (Christine) and Dallas, eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and one brother and two sisters. The Ceremony to Celebrate Verna's life will take place at Memories Chapel, 330 18th Street North, on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Judith Froese-Doell officiating. Interment will be at the Rosewood Memorial Gardens. Urn bearer will be husband Gil. A reception will follow at Memories Chapel. Donations in memory of Verna may be made to the Nearly New Shop.
