KOLTUSKY: On Sunday, June 19, 2016, Sonia Koltusky, passed away at the age of 73 years. Born January 16, 1943, Sonia was raised on a farm and attended school in Horod, Manitoba. In 1962, she married David Koltusky and together they had four children, Sandra, Darryl, Donald "Donnie" and Susan. Sonia enjoyed spending time with her husband, kids, and the company of friends. When not entertaining she liked to cook, bake and enjoyed gardening. Sonia is survived by her children Sandra Koltusky, Darryl Koltusky (Theresa McDonald and her children Isaac and Keshia), Donald (Ellie) Koltusky, and Susan (Curtis) Myers and one grandson. She was predeceased by her parents John and Mary Krawchuk and her husband David. The Celebration of Sonia's Life took place at Memories Chapel on Friday, June 24, 2016. Pastor Ed Creary officiated. Interment followed at the St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Elphinstone, Manitoba. Donations in memory of Sonia may be made to a charity of choice.
