DILLISTONE: Ted (Edward Grant) Dillistone passed away in Campbell River, B.C. on August 31, 2016 after a 4 year battle with Alzheimer's and dementia. Ted was born September 12, 1931 in Winnipeg, and died just shy of his 85th birthday. Ted has 3 children, 11 grandchildren, and 2 great -grandchildren. He was an Air Force Pilot, and then City Engineer in Brandon, Campbell River and Whitehorse. Ted was a public speaking instructor with Dale Carnegie. His many musical talents included piano, Church choir, community theatre and Barbershop Quartet singing. He also taught hand bells to school children. Ted was an avid sailor. He had an amazing sense of humour, and will be greatly missed. A Memorial Service will be held at Saint Peter's Anglican Church in Campbell River, B.C. on Saturday, September 17th at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the church hall.
