GARTON: John Bruce Garton, of Kenton, MB, beloved son of the late Bill and Edie Garton, brother of Charles (Heather), Robert, Pat, Jean, Judy, the late Billie (Allan) Kumhyr, and the late Ivy Joy Garton, passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre, Brandon, MB on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at 68 years of age. A service to celebrate John’s life will be held at the Kenton Memorial Hall, Kenton, MB on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. with interment taking place at a later date. For those so desiring, donations may be made in John’s memory to the Manitoba Firefighter’s Burn Fund, 303–83 Garry Street, Winnipeg, MB, R3C 4J9 (www.burnfundmb.ca); the Kenton Lions Club, Kenton, MB, R0M 0Z0; or to a charity of one’s choice.
