GARLAND:The family of George Edward Garland of Boissevain, Manitoba are saddened by his passing on September 2, 2016 at the Brandon Regional Health Centre at the age of 78. George was born May 23, 1938 in Brandon, Manitoba to parents Ernest N. and Mary Alice (Redding) Garland. George is survived by loving wife, Donna L. (Long), stepson Robert E. (Jackie) Long, grandsons Robert, Rodney, and Ray, as well as sister Dorothy Jenson of Souris, MB. George was predeceased by his parents, 3 brothers and 2 sisters, his mother and father-in-law, Edward Bayard and Margaret May Maley and brother-in-law Robert James Maley. In accordance with George’s wishes cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held.
