FAROUGH: On Saturday, October 22, 2016, Edward James Ed Farough passed away in Brandon. Born in Russell, Manitoba on September 26, 1960, Ed was the son of a hydro man and moved with his family all over Manitoba. He attended school in Riding Mountain for his early years and high school in both Kelwood and Neepawa. During his life Ed delivered pizza, drove taxi and most recently worked for the Brandon Sun. He was a great husband and father who loved his boys fiercely and was extremely proud of all of them. When not working, Ed enjoyed reading, journaling, camping, fishing, playing pool and having coffee with friends. He also loved to travel and was an avid gardener. Remaining to cherish Ed's memory are his wife Joyce; sons Albert, Isaac, Samuel and Theodore; father Robert Farough; siblings Barbara Farough, Larry (DietLinde) and Ron Farough; several nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins and great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother Lois Farough. The graveside ceremony took place at the Brandon Cemetery on Friday, October 28, 2016. The Rev. Raymond Knight and The Rev. Philip Varcoe officiated. Urn bearers were his sons, Albert, Isaac, Samuel and Theodore. Donations in memory of Ed may be made to a charity of choice. Expressions of sympathy may be made at www.memorieschapel.com
