DOWNEY HOFFOS: It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Whitney Leslie Ann Downey on Friday, December 30, 2016 at the age of 27 years. Mourning her loss are her sons Kyle, age 5, and Kley, age 4, her sons’ father Dana Hoffos from Moose Jaw, SK, her mother Cheryl Downey from Thompson, MB and father Christopher Downey of Brandon. She also leaves her siblings, brother Rory Downey and fiancée Terri Reimer and their children London, Jory and Tesa from Medicine Hat, AB, sister Chrissy Downey of Brandon, as well as grandmothers Eleanor Broadhead and Audrey (Downey) Shaw, both of Brandon, and mother-in-law Sherri Hoffos of Moose Jaw, SK. Also surviving are many uncles, aunts, cousins and great friends. A private family service will be held on Friday, January 6, 2017.
