MARR: Mr. Darren Marr of Gainsborough, SK, passed away in the presence of family and close friends at Brandon Regional Health Centre, on Friday, January 27, 2017 at the age of 52. He was predeceased by his son, Dustin in March, 2013. Darren is survived by his two daughters, Amanda (Chad Reynolds) (grandson, Jack) and Alyssa (Tanner Jorgensen); fiancée Cheryl Brown (her family Devan, Bryce, and Sydney Brown); parents, Mac and Phyllis; sister, Connie (Maurice) Larose; two brothers, Kevin (Dawn) Marr, Glenn Marr (Rhonda Ritsco), and Linda Prokopchuk; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; also his furry friends, Dez, Lola, Mr. Mugs, and Kayla. A service to celebrate Darrens life will be held on Friday, February 3, 2017 at 2:00 pm from the Associated Gospel Church, Carnduff, SK, with Pastor Dana McCallum officiating. Interment will take place at the Gainsborough Cemetery at a later date. The family wishes to thank Dr. Minders and the Palliative Care Team at BRHC for their excellent care and compassion during Darrens last days. Thanks also to Dr. Moller and the nurses at Cancer Care Brandon as well as Dr. Gordon (Cancer Care Winnipeg). Donations may be given to the Canadian Cancer Society, 415- 1st Street East, Brandon, MB, R7A 2W8 or to a charity of your choice.
