BRIDGER: With her daughters by her side, Kathleen Ada May Bridger, age 96 years, passed away at her residence on Sunday, January 29, 2017. Kathleen grew up in a large family in the West End of the city and attended Fleming and Earl Oxford schools. She married the love of her life, Ray, on November 2, 1944. Kathleen worked as a Nurse's Aide at the Brandon Sanitorium, Assiniboine Hospital and Fairview Home until her retirement. Kathleen started knitting and crocheting at a young age, and all family members have lasting memories and keepsakes of her beautiful work. Remaining to cherish her memory are daughters Gerry Miles, Betty-Ann (Rob) Crossman, sons Tom and Ken; eleven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Ray, infant son Raymond, son Jim, son-in-law Dave Miles, her parents, twin sister Katherine, sisters Margaret, Bernice and Virginia and brothers Clifford, Frank, Harvey, Raymond, Victor, Lawrence and Donald. Kathleen will be laid to rest beside her husband in a private ceremony at a later date.
