ELDER: Evelyn Jean (Pearce) Elder, age 68, of Brandon, passed away January 29, 2017, at the Assiniboine Centre,, Brandon. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Odd Fellows Corner, 939-9th St. Evelyn was born June 8, 1949, in Brandon to Tom and Jean Pearce. She lived in Brandon all her life. Ev married John Elder October 1, 1999. Ev worked at Fairview as a nurses aide for 26 years. She is predeceased by her parents Tom and Jean, brother Doug and husband John. Ev is survived by brothers, Gordon (Margaret), Allan (Gladys), Ed (Sig), Barry (Marie), Ken (Anita); also by numerous nieces and nephews.
