LeBLANC: Leo Joseph passed away peacefully with family at his side on February 14, 2017 at Brandon Regional Health Centre. Leo was born in Bellevue, SK. He was raised on the family farm with seven brothers and three sisters. Leo married Dorothy Rowe on October 9, 1948. They moved to Flin Flon in 1950 where they raised their three children and later transferred to Lynn Lake. Leo spent his career in the oil business and upon retiring moved from Thompson to Dauphin, MB. Following the passing of his wife he moved to Brandon, MB in 2008 to be closer to family. Leo and Dorothy had three children: Sheldon (Pat) of Morden, MB; Sharon of Quispamsis, NB; Marv (Debbie) of Ninette, MB. There are seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Leo was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather. He was a loyal member of the Knights of Columbus and an active member of St. Augustine's Church. Leo spent his final years at Victoria Landing where he was very happy. Leo enjoyed golfing, curling, and watching his grandchildren in their sporting events. Leo was loved and respected by his family and friends and will be dearly missed. A celebration of Leos life was held on February 17, 2017 at St. Augustines Church. Donations in Leos name can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
