McMASTER: Gordon M. McMaster passed away peacefully at Fairview Home, with his son Gordon at his side, on February 28, 2017 at the age of 90 years. He was born in Gainsborough, SK on June 2, 1926. Gordon is survived by his wife Lillian and her sons Dean and Robert and her daughter Shelley and their families. He also leaves to mourn his children Sandra (Keith), Brenda, Gordon (Sharon), Douglas (Wendy), Terry and their families. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Gordon was predeceased by his mother Mabel, father Leslie, brother William, sister Margaret Jean and his first wife Eva. We wish to thank the many kind and compassionate staff of Fairview Home for providing his care for the past year. He was surrounded by a lot of laughter and good-natured kidding and for the most part, he was generally able to give as good as he got. On March 3, 2017, a private family service was held at Brockie Donovan Funeral Home followed by interment at Rosewood Memorial Gardens.
