DUNCAN: It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Wayne Donald Duncan of Thompson, Manitoba. Wayne was born on May 28, 1952, in Chipman, NB. He passed away peacefully at the age of 64 on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at the (A3) Assiniboine Centre in Brandon, Manitoba. Wayne is survived by his son Darrell Duncan (Jaqueline), daughter Shawna Harper (Earl); grandchildren Derian, Elliott, Kalyn, Taylor, Nathan, Sonny, Jordan, Kenton, Macy, Brody and Keegan; brothers Vernon Duncan (Louise), Dale Duncan; sister Cindy Lawson (Bruce); numerous nieces and nephews, and many good friends. The family wishes to sincerely thank all relatives and friends for their support and kindness especially the wonderful staff at the Palliative Care (A3) floor of the Assiniboine Centre in Brandon, MB. At Wayne's request, there will be no official funeral. There will be a celebration of his life and an interment of ashes ceremony this summer in Oxford House, Manitoba.
