YANDA: Jean passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 30, 2017, with family by her side. She was predeceased by her parents, seven brothers and four sisters. She is survived by her nieces, nephews and their families. Jean was born, raised and educated in Brandon attending David Livingstone, Earl Oxford and Brandon Collegiate. She was a loving sister and aunt who always enjoyed family gatherings and having her family come and visit. Jean loved animals and had two very special pets who found her, Daisy Mae and Miss Kitty. She took great pride in her home, yard and garden. Jean was a long-time member of St. Hedwig’s Roman Catholic Church and choir member. She was last employed by Sharpes Auto Electric. A private family memorial service was held. If family and friends so wish, donations may be made to the Brandon Humane Society, 2200 17th Street E., Brandon, MB, R7A 7M6. The family gives special thanks to the 2nd floor staff for the care given to Jean at the Valleyview Care Centre.
