CORY: Passed away with family by her side at the Wawanesa Health Centre on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at the age of 81 years, Lucille Verna "Lucy" Cory (nee Cahill), of Wawanesa, MB. Lucy leaves to mourn her passing her two sons Tim (Suzie) of Calgary, AB and Terry (Linda) of Nesbitt, MB, grandchildren Karen, Brian (Jenny) and Ken and by great grandchildren Lillian and Jason. She is also survived by her brother Regis (Lyn) Cahill of Duncan, BC, sister Josie (Leonard) Lindley of Teulon, MB, brothers and sisters-in-law Peter Ternowski of Carberry, Helen Elliott, Don Cory, Jim (Jean) Cory, Colin (Merl) Cory, Keith (June) Cory as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Lucy was predeceased by her husband Hank in 2013, parents Joseph and Catherine Cahill and by sisters Germaine Proskiw, Eugenie Ternowski and Annette Korne (Gerry Jeffrey). A Celebration of Lucy's life will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the Wawanesa United Church with Rev. Harvey Hurren and Shirley McBurney officiating. Interment will take place in the Minnewawa Cemetery, Nesbitt, MB.
