COLE: Graeme Deane passed away peacefully on July 6, 2017 at Victoria General Hospital, Victoria, BC, following cancer surgery. Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife Sharon; daughters Shannon (Jeff) and granddaughter Jocelyn, Andrea and grandchildren Tessa and Jordan. Born in Souris, MB he resided in the Forrest district until joining the RCMP in 1964. Deane and Sharon were married in 1966 and had 50 wonderful years of marriage. Deane retired in 1990 and they travelled throughout Canada and the United States. He was predeceased by parents Aubrey and Maxine Cole, and sister Tannis Phillips and her husband Ken Phillips. Deane will be missed by family in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia. A celebration of life will be held July 21, 2017 in Qualicum Beach, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to BC Cancer Society in Deane’s memory. Sincere thanks to Dr’s and nurses in ICU at Victoria General Hospital, Dr. Stanwood and Dr. Bieberdorf.
