BAKER: It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Donald Franklin Baker on June 17, 2017 at age 77 years of Summerland, BC. Don passed peacefully with his family by his side after a long battle with cancer. He will be missed and lovingly remember by his wife Roxy, grandchildren; Lorynne (Brian Fasse), Michael Bodyk, Sarah Wilde (Tanner, Gina Wilde Kelly). Also left to mourn his passing are great grandchildren, Damien, Madelynne, Jaclynne, sister Verlie (Maurice Arnold), brother Cliff (Elaine) and many more friends and family from coast to coast. Don was predeceased by his two daughters Sherry (Bodyk) and Lori Baker, Mom and Dad (Norma and Frank), infant sister Beverley, brothers, Barry (Helen) and Brian. Don was employed by C.C. Construction in Brandon for many years prior to his move to Victoria, BC. Cremation has taken place and a private family interment will take place in Brandon at a later date.
