COATES: It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of David Coates, age 74, on Sunday, August 27, 2017, in Victoria, BC, after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Left to cherish his many memories are his wife of 24 years, Peggy Coates, his children, grandchildren, family, and friends. David was a kind and caring person, who has touched the lives of many and will forever be in our hearts. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Esquimalt Eagles Club at a date to be announced.
