EGGLETON: Margaret Louise passed away peacefully at Hillcrest Place Personal Care Home on Monday, September 25, 2017 at the age of 97 years. Marg was part of the fabric and a lifelong member of the Park Community in Brandon. Marg was predeceased by her husband Charles; parents Leslie and Mabel McKay and brother Brydon. She will lovingly be remembered by her many friends and neighbours in Brandon and Wasagaming. Marg married Charlie on September 27, 1952 in the Knox United Church in Winnipeg. As residents of Brandon, they were deeply involved in the Brandon business community. Marg was a partner in The Specialty Shop and always smartly dressed. Marg and Charlie enjoyed travelling and spending time at their cottage on the North Shore of Clear Lake. A Memorial Tea will be held at Brockie Donovan’s George Brockie Fellowship Centre, 332-8th Street, on Friday, September 29, 2017 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. following a private graveside service. Donations in memory of Margaret may be made to the Brandon Regional Health Centre Foundation, Identified Needs, 150 McTavish Ave. East, Brandon, MB, R7A 2B3.
