GOODBURN: Marie Ann Skryp Goodburn passed away peacefully at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at the age of 68 years. She was born in Brandon, Manitoba on April 25, 1949. Marie moved to Edmonton, AB and then to Ponoka, AB before returning back to Brandon, MB where she loved to pass her time gardening. She lived happily in her life workingas a Nurses Aide and caregiver and extended that same care and compassion for her family and friends. Anywhere Marie lived she touched peoples hearts with her care, wisdom and love. She was always willing to care for anyone in need. Marie is happy to be reunited with her husband Wilfred Goodburn, parents Joseph and Sophie Skryp, brothers Myron and Bill Skryp. Marie will be forever loved and missed by: sister Olga Wood (Ron); brother Ed Skryp (Deborah); daughter Tina McCormick (Keith); son Don Vivian (Cindy); stepdaughter Cheryl Wishira (Dean); grandchildren: Chris, Jesse (Tiffany), Ray, Matt, Logan, Isabelle, Chantelle, Allison and greatgrandchildren: Kali, Lily, Cordelia, and Pheenix. The family wishes to thank Sandy and Dickson, Shane and Karen for their help and support. In keeping with Marie Anns wishes there will be no funeral service held but donations in memory of Marie Anne may be made to the Brandon Humane Society, 2200-17th Street East, Brandon, MB, R7A 7M6.
