McKERCHAR: William (Bill) McKerchar of Brandon and formerly of Birtle and Strathclair passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at the Brandon Regional Health Centre at the age of 90 years. Bill is survived by his wife Wilma; children: Allan (Dee) McKerchar of Fargo, ND, Suzan (Gordie) Campbell of Quesnel, BC and Sandra (John) Connor of Thunder Bay, ON. Also surviving are several grandchildren and great grandchildren. The funeral service will take place on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Strathclair United Church. Interment will follow at The Bend Cemetery, Strathclair. Rev. Jamie Bradshaw will officiate. If friends so desire donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Manitoba, Birtle Drop In Centre, Strathclair United Church or Birtle United Church.
