MILLER: Robert (Bob) Arnold Miller passed away peacefully at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at the age of 74 years. Bob was born on June 25, 1943 in Barrie, ON. Bob grew up in Winnipeg, moved to Brandon in 1964 and lived briefly in Thunder Bay, ON, where he met Pat and returned to Brandon in 1970. While his sons participated, he was active in the development and expansion of Brandon Youth Soccer; as a coach and member of the executive. In his later years, Bob was a non-playing supporter and member of the Brandon Barbarians Rugby Football Club and in 2013 became the first inductee into the Western Manitoba High School Rugby Association Hall of Fame. Bob always had a camera ready to take pictures, which we will always be thankful for. Bob retired from Wyeth/Ayerst (now Pfizer) for health reasons. However, he enjoyed getting together with other retirees monthly. Bob was always positive and cheerful and never complained about his physical hardships. Bob was predeceased by his parents, as well as his father, mother and brothers-in-law. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Pat; sons: Kevin Jamie (Darlene) of Brandon and Jason (Lynn) and cherished grandson Cameron of Fargo, ND; brother Barry (Sharon) of Winnipeg and Patrick (Cathy) of Calgary and various nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at the Brockie Donovan Chapel, 332-8th Street, on Wednesday, December 27 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
