GOULD: It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle, Ron Allan Gould. Ron passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Monday, January 22, 2018 at the age of 69. Ron was predeceased by his parents, Lloyd and Mildred (Henuset) Gould; father and mother-in-law, Charles and Gabrielle (Vanbeselaere) Vansteeland; brothers-in-law, Vern Elliott and Robert (Bob) Jones; nephews, Douglas Warren, Trenton Gould, and Chad Andries; niece, Taylor Renwick. Ron is lovingly remembered by his wife Darlene (Vansteeland); two sons, Shaun and Heather (Cheyne), (their children, Brooklyn and Landon Gould) and Carey and Christa (Noch), (their children, Keaghan, Kaydence, and Gabrielle Gould); his siblings, Larry Gould (Laurie Gray), Trudy Warren (Jim Corbett), Sherry Line (Keith Line), Melodie Hrechka (Mike Hrechka), and Dennean Gould (Shelley Gould); in-laws, Lorraine Jones, Gary Vansteeland, Betty Elliott (Fernie Bisson); former in-laws, Donna Gould, Bill Warren, Bob Lamport, Rod Andries, Penny Gould, and Darlene Vansteeland; aunts and uncle, Shirley Mitchell, and Evelyn and Earl Branston; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Ron had a second family he called his “Musical Family”. This included the many musicians he played with over the years. A private service for Ron will take place from the Napinka Community Hall, Napinka, MB on Friday, February 2, 2018. The interment will follow at the Napinka Cemetery. A public celebration in honour of Ron's life with music and fellowship will be held at the Napinka Hall later that same day. The special afternoon is scheduled to start at 1:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in memory of Ron may be directed to the Napinka Cemetery Fund, Box 95, Napinka, MB, R0M 1N0.
