FLANNAGAN: Paulette Margaret Flannagan (nee Czech). Passed away suddenly, at Royal Jubilee Hospital, Victoria on Tuesday, December 4, 2018. Paulette is survived by her husband of 45 years, Larry, her sons, Tim and Patrick (April) of Victoria, her grandchildren, Lily, Emma, Hayden, and Rachel Flannagan. Also surviving is her sister, Linda Chester (Bill), Brandon and her brother, Joseph Czech (Barbara), Winnipeg as well as many nieces and nephews. Paulette was born in Brandon on April 14, 1948 to the late Joe and Vera Czech. She received her education in Brandon and in 1968, she moved to Victoria where she worked as a legal secretary with several law firms. Over the years, Paulette was active in her community, politics, and a long time member of the Esquimalt Chamber of Commerce. Above all, she was a pillar in her family, she touched our lives and made us better. A Celebration of Life was held in Victoria on Friday, December 7 with interment of ashes in Royal Oak Cemetery.
