McFARLANE: William Vincent McFarlane C.P.O. 2 (Retired), February 23, 1941 – January 3, 2019. It is with great sadness, we announce the passing of Vin, formerly from Souris, MB, in Victoria hospital. He leaves behind his devoted wife of 55 years, Joan; his son Blake, and grandsons Ryan, Jordan and Jacob. Predeceased by daughter Heather Osborne (1994). Survived by siblings Lorna Hart, Wayne McFarlane (Shirley), Lyn McCulloch, Frances Racher (Doug) and nieces and nephews. Remembered by Don and Colleen Parker. Bill was a member of Canadian Armed Forces for 30 years serving on many ships. He was a member of V.M.C. and Victoria Darts Association. There will be no service as per his request. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Kidney Foundation of Canada or Heart & Stroke Foundation.
