WADE: It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Christina May Wade, July 12, 2019, at the age of 90 years, at the Concordia Hospital. Christina will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her husband Murray, children: Brenda (Bryan), Willa (David), Shawna (Morgan) and John (Stacy), six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, her sister Hollis, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, Richmond Garden neighbors, and Trinity Baptist Church community. She was predeceased by her daughter Carol, sisters Edna, Elva, Lois, Della, Fern and brothers Elwood and Sanford. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday, August 13, at 1:00 p.m. at Trinity Baptist Church, 549 Gertrude Avenue, Winnipeg. Reception to follow in the lower church hall. An interment and memorial service will take place Thursday, August 15 at 1:00 p.m. at Rosewood Memorial Gardens, Victoria Avenue W., Brandon. Reception to follow at the Clarion Hotel, 3130 Victoria Avenue W., Brandon. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at the Grace and Concordia Hospitals. Also, a big thank you to Pastor Brad Warkentin from Trinity Baptist Church.
