GRAMCHUK: Lucy Pauline (nee Kachanoski), Sept. 7, 1923 - Sept. 21, 2019. Lucy passed away peacefully on September 21, 2019. Predeceased by her husband Pete of 45 years, she is survived by her son Norm (Sharon), many friends, nephews, nieces and their families. The last surviving sibling in her family of 10 (Souris, MB), Lucy enjoyed an active and engaging life. She loved curling, hockey and baseball, travel with family and friends and would rather spend her time at an ocean side beach more than anywhere else in the world. Lucy will be remembered for her feisty, competitive nature. Perhaps most of all, her fierce protection and love for those closest to her will endure as her signature. Sincere gratitude to Westerleigh PARC staff in West Vancouver for providing Lucy “the good life” during her five years there. Also, heartfelt thanks to the amazing staff at Berkeley Care Centre. As per Lucy’s wishes, there will be no service.
