BARCLAY: Andrew Milne Barclay passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Monday, November 4, 2019 at the age of 85 years. Andy, as he was known to his Canadian friends, or Drew as he was known to his Scottish family and friends, was born on December 12, 1933 in Kilbagie, Scotland. Andy lived in Scotland till he and his family immigrated to Canada in November of 1967. After a short stint living in Winnipeg, the family moved to Brandon where he has lived and worked ever since. Surviving family are: Carol (Tim) Morrison, Reed and Claire; Ian (Rennie), Drew and Spencer; sister Margo Prentice in Scotland, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He also leaves to mourn, special friends Ken and Carmen Chown, who he spent many hours with at Oak Lake. Respecting Andy’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral service. Cremation has taken place and Andy’s ashes will be returned to his beloved Scotland.
