DEVLIN: Robert. With sadness in our hearts we announce that Bob passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at the Palliative Care Unit in Brandon. Bob was born January 21, 1951 to parents James and Phyllis Devlin. Bob will be greatly missed by his loving wife Jennetta and sons Kent (Kim) and Kirk (Tiffany); as well as his cherished grandsons: Tylan, Hayden, and Mason. Bob is survived by his siblings: Jim (Lynne) Garry, Maureen (Gerry Macdonald), Shelley (Doug Semler), step-brother Jim (Mary) as well as several nieces and nephews. Bob was predeceased by both his mother and father and step-sister Kathleen (George Drescher). Bob was born and raised in Swan River and moved to Brandon in 1980 when he married Jennetta. Bob was an avid sports fan; but his love was baseball. He played fastball with the Swan River Blues and for a team in Brandon when he moved. Bob enjoyed assisting the coaching of his sons in various sports and although his grandsons are young, he especially enjoyed watching them at their numerous sports activities. Bob was a member of the Kinsmen Clubs in both Swan River as well as Brandon; he valued the camaraderie and the friendships he made. Bob will be laid to rest at a graveside service in Carnduff, Saskatchewan in the Spring. Messages of condolence may be placed at www.brockiedonovan.com
