BRICKWOOD: Richard Brickwood passed away on December 4, 2019 at the age of 90. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Margaret, his 6 sons, Dave (George), Michael (Carla), Mark (Joyce), Robert (Dini), Douglas (Lisa) and Raymond (Andrea) as well as 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Richard and Margaret loved to travel and spent many winters in Arizona as well as travelling all over North America and England. He was founding member of the Hydro-X club and enjoyed many events with his fellow retirees. He was also a life time member of the Good Sam RV Club where he served as the Manitoba Director and wagon master on many excursions. He had a passion for building things, from fine furniture to model airplanes. He always had a project underway Dad could get behind the wheel of his car with Mom at his side and drive for hours heading to new places, sometimes despite desperate pleas from the children in the back seat begging him to stop just for a minute. He was loved and will be missed. Cremation has already occurred. A celebration in his memory will be held at a later date.
