DIDYCH: Andrea Joan Didych (Garant), January 21, 1953 – January 12, 2020. On Sunday, January 12, Andrea received a special call – it was God inviting her to a reunion like no other. She accepted and upon arrival was greeted by so many people she loves who traveled there before her: Her husband, Barry Didych; parents, Alice and Leo Garant; siblings, Harley Garant, Diane McCormick, Russell Garant, and many other family and friends. Those left to celebrate her legacy are her loving children, Robert Didych, Nicole (Mike) Goran, Chantel Didych, grandson Rykin, and canine sidekick, Suma; her sisters, Sheryle Garant, and Lorrie (Dale) Benson; her siblings-in-law, Cathy and Dennis Didych, Angela Garant, Janet Garant, Jim McCormick, Theresa Nychuk, and many relatives and friends. Andrea Joan Didych (Garant) – stoic, loving, generous, and strong – touched the lives of so many and will never be forgotten. A private celebration of her life is being held this weekend for her family and friends. Thank you to the healthcare professionals who helped Andrea and her family during this difficult process. A special thank you to Miranda Lovett, Andrea's niece and Homecare Professional, for her loving care of her aunt in the last months of her journey here.
