DILLEY: Donald “Don” Harry Edmond passed away suddenly at home on February 28, 2020 at the age of 70 years. Don was born in Brandon, Manitoba on October 27, 1949. He grew up in Brandon, graduating from Vincent Massey and then moving onto the big city of Winnipeg. He studied Business Administration at Red River College, returning to Brandon to work with his dad at Dilley's Florists. Don was a gifted florist and creator of floral arrangements. He also took great pleasure in enjoying the great outdoors with his trusty camera handy to take the "perfect shot." He was a proud member of the Brandon Camera Club. Music was a huge part of Don's life which became very clear looking at his massive collection of classical and jazz CD's that he listened to regularly. Don is survived by his sister Kathryn and her husband Malcolm Warrington, as well as his extended family. Don was predeceased by his mother Shirley Dilley and father Walter “Bud” Dilley. A Graveside Memorial Service will be held at the Brandon Cemetery, 1901-18th Street, Brandon, MB on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. with Kim Lewarne officiating.   • It is with a sad heart I read this obituary today. A lot of people had no idea of what a talented and warm person he was. The favourite photo I have of my husband and me was taken by Don at the wishing well at Clear Lake. I remember how sad it was when his flower shop closed.
